Slovenia Green

The green travellers Ruben Salgado Escudero, a National Geographic Explorer, and his partner Kathryn Taylor, experience what it means to travel in a place where everyone commits themselves to preserving the unspoiled nature.

On their way they encounter locals. From a beekeeper and an eco-farm owner, to a group of students in the natural protected area, they come to understand how deeply ingrained sustainability is in the lifestyle of Slovenian people.

Within the national program Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism, the Slovenian Tourist Board builds sustainable tourism under the Slovenia Green brand.
